OUR STORY
We are still searching for answers to the pain our son is experiencing.
Passing urine should be an ordinary part of a childhood day. For Seyhan, it brings pain that still has no clear explanation.
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and warm greetings to the generous people of Malaysia,
With humility, urgency and hope, I am asking for your kindness and support to help cover the medical costs of my son, Seyhan Azhar. As his father, I am deeply concerned that his condition is worsening and becoming critical.
Seyhan's suffering and current condition:
25 September 2026: Seyhan suddenly became unwell. He experienced severe pain in his genital area and whenever he passed urine.
Procedures at a government hospital: Seyhan underwent cystoscopy and a biopsy (tissue sampling) on 26 October 2026. However, the full results take almost a month to become available.
Worsening pain and reliance on painkillers: As parents, it breaks our hearts that Seyhan's pain has become significantly worse since the cystoscopy. He now relies on strong pain relief to get through each day.
Waiting for an MRI scan (a suspected spinal cord problem): The hospital suspects a possible problem affecting his spinal cord. Seyhan is on the waiting list for an MRI scan. The wait feels far too long as his physical condition and health continue to deteriorate. We cannot bear to keep watching him suffer.
Purpose of this fund and an open appeal to medical specialists:
Time is precious. We need to act quickly to protect Seyhan's future and his life.
1. Funding private specialist care and treatment abroad: The funds raised will help us seek an urgent consultation at a private specialist hospital to shorten the waiting time. If specialists here are still unable to find answers, we plan to take Seyhan to Shanghai, China. Our family believes that specialist care there may be more affordable and that relevant expertise may be available for complex neurological and unexplained conditions. Costs, suitability and treatment options will need to be confirmed with the treating specialists.
2. Welcoming direct medical help (open appeal): We warmly welcome any private hospital, urologist, neurologist or charitable organisation with relevant expertise that would like to help treat Seyhan directly. Please contact us as soon as possible.

TREATMENT JOURNEY
From the first symptoms to today
29 July 2025
Admitted to Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) with blood in his urine and bedwetting 4–5 times a week for 3–4 weeks. The family was told the blood and urine results were satisfactory. Diagnosed with cystitis and given antibiotics.
1 August 2025
Discharged from hospital.
30 October 2025
KUB ultrasound. Family notes record a bladder measurement of 1 cm and satisfactory kidney findings.
November 2025
Missed the follow-up appointment due to school examinations. Bedwetting became less frequent.
28 February 2026
Admitted to HSA with lower abdominal pain. An X-ray showed a large amount of stool. Diagnosed with constipation colic.
July–September 2026
Bedwetting 4–5 times a week.
25 September 2026
HSA appointment for painful urination. Given Cefuroxime; family notes state “125”, three bottles. An ultrasound was arranged. The family was told the blood and urine results were satisfactory.
27 September 2026
Private ultrasound. Family notes record a bladder measurement of 0.5 cm and satisfactory kidney findings.
8 October 2026
HSA ultrasound. Family notes record a bladder measurement of 0.7 cm and satisfactory kidney findings.
9 October 2026
Persistent painful urination with sudden episodes of pain in the scrotum, lower abdomen or tip of the penis lasting 1–2 minutes. The doctor planned to discuss the case with the team. Follow-up scheduled for 23 October.
11 October 2026
Regency Specialist Hospital assessment. Family notes describe clear urine and a bladder measurement of 0.5–0.7 cm. Given Augmentin 457 mg. The attached report records maximum bladder wall thickness of 3.6 mm; the different measurements require clarification with the doctor.
16 October 2026
Admitted to HSA after almost one hour of continuous pain. Cystoscopy and biopsy proposed for 27 October. Ibuprofen prescribed for pain as directed by the doctor.
27 October 2026
Cystoscopy and biopsy, according to the earlier family chronology. The urologist reportedly said the bladder looked normal, pending biopsy results in 3–4 weeks. The latest family appeal states 26 October; the procedure date requires confirmation.
MRI plan
The family reports a whole-spine MRI scheduled for 7 November to investigate possible tethered cord syndrome or a spinal cord lesion. These are conditions under investigation, not confirmed diagnoses. The attached form lists admission on 5 November and MRI on 6 November; please confirm with the hospital.
Current condition
The family reports ongoing painful urination and worsening pain following cystoscopy.
Next steps
Urgent assessment by another private specialist. Treatment in Shanghai is also being considered if needed following specialist assessment.
